I’ve always had a love for animals and never really liked leaving my pets at a kennel. The thought of my dogs being cooped up when I had to leave them behind was something I never felt comfortable with.

This is why 7 Dogs Boarding & Day Care was formed.

We decided to start our journey in January of 2020, right before Covid hit. At the time I was a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and was laid off due to the pandemic - a blessing in disguise and an opportunity to follow my heart. I decided it was time to enroll in Animal Behavior College.

In November of 2020, the world was beginning to open back up and I was back at my primary job as a PTA - but now, I was also starting to welcome dogs into my home for day care and boarding services. Luckily, my husband, James, is a Firefighter - which gave us flexibility and the ability for someone to be home during the days to take care of the dogs.

I decided it was time to take the leap of faith, leave my career as a PTA behind to create a safe and comfortable boarding environment for your pets that's as close to home as possible.

We recognize that all dogs are different and require individualized attention. We're excited for you to be apart of this new chapter in our lives and hope to have you and your furry friends in it.
